Springfield, Mo. 9-7-08 Keisuke Nishimura, an 18th generation instructor and a member of the Nawa-no-Kai group from Isesaki Japan, demonstrates Tameshigiri (test cutting) during the 12th annual Japanese Fall Festival held at the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden. Isesaki Japan, the sister city of Springfield, Missouri is located approximately 100 km from Tokyo and has a population of about 209,000 as compared to Springfield’s 156,000.
